On Wednesday night, Carmi Police were called to a residence on Schumaker Street for a disturbance.
After an investigation, police arrested 64-year-old James Massey for Domestic Battery and Criminal Damage to Property.
Massey was transported to the White County Jail, where he will stay until he sees a judge.
