Troopers from Illinois State Police District 19 investigated a traffic crash in Saline County Wednesday night that sent an Arkansas man to the hospital.
According to the preliminary crash report, 37 year old Ryan C Baker of Plainview was southbound on Liberty Road when his vehicle exited the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Because of injuries sustained in the crash, Baker was airlifted to a local hospital. The report says that charges are pending against him as a result of the investigation.
Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Saline County Sheriff’s Department, Harrisburg Police Department, Harrisburg Fire Department, Saline County Ambulance Service, and Air Evac.
