A yellow Tulip Poplar tree was dedicated in memory of Mrs. Trudy Jacobs who passed away on May 14, 2020 from cancer. She was a beloved English and Speech teacher at Carmi High School for 35 years. Any student of Mrs. Jacobs’s would likely know that her favorite color was yellow because it was a “happy color”. The tree was donated by the CWCHS Class of 2004 and CWCHS.
