Daily Covid Update
With the uptick in covid 19 cases, the Egyptian Health Department is now releasing daily Covid 19 updates as is the Hamilton County Health Department.
Both reports, from Wednesday, indicate local covid numbers are climbing once again, and both health departments urge people to get vaccinated.
There were five new cases in White County including four females; one in their teens, one in their twenties and two in their forties. There was also a male in his 50s reported.
Saline County had 10 cases reported; seven females and three men. There were two females in their twenties, four in their thirties and one in their forties. The men; one under the age of ten, one in their thirties and one in their forties.
Gallatin County, which continues to put up lower numbers than its surrounding counties had one female in her teens and two males; one in their 20s and one in their forties.
To date, Saline County has a total of 2,892 lab confirmed positives, with 57 deaths. White County has had a total of 1920 positives, including 27 deaths and Gallatin County has a total of 558 cases ,including four deaths.
Hamilton County reported 11 new cases of the virus including a male in their twenties; two females in their 30s, two males in their 30s; one male in their 40s, two females in their 60s, one male in their 60s; one male in their 70s and a male in their 80s.
There have been 875 lab confirmed cases in Hamilton County. Seventeen people have passed away from the virus, but 831 have recovered.
Area residents are reminded to reminder the three Ws, when combating Covid; wear your face covering if you are not fully vaccinated; wash your hands (often) and watch your distance.
