The Carmi White County Lady Bulldogs softball team lost a heartbreaker Thursday afternoon. It took 12 innings to settle; the Lady Wolves lucked out with a walk off in Flora and pitcher Liberty Smith was the tough luck loser. Flora struck for 2 runs in the 2nd before the Lady Dogs tied it up with two of their own in the top half of the fifth. It would stay that way until the bottom of the 12th. Smith pitched a complete game and helped her own cause with CWCHS’s only RBI. Kacee Milligan went 2 for 5 on the day. Smith, Mara Sarafini, Audrey Upton, Kendall Rooney, Kadie Simmons, and Kacee Milligan also chipped in with hits.
The Lady Dogs travel to Trico tomorrow morning for a game at 10am.
