The Carmi-White County boys and girls golf teams were forced to sit out for a week due to the recent heat wave that surged through the midwest. The temperatures cooled down and the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs were finally able to get back in action as they hosted Fairfield, NCOE, Waltonville and Gallatin County at the Carmi Country Club.
The Lady Bulldogs defeated Waltonville and Fairfield 194-218-242.
Maeve Atteberry shot a 45.
Ava Shiever and Courtney Snow both shot a 48.
Kinley Carter shot a 53.
Sadie Balding shot a 55.
The Bulldogs tied with Gallatin County for the win- both teams shot a 169. NCOE finished with 186 and Waltonville finished with 173.
Aiden Willis shot a 39.
Gabe Winkleman shot a 40.
Maxon O’Daniel shot a 42.
Connor Newell shot a 48.
Abe Girten and Jax Jordan both shot a 49.
The Lady Bulldogs will host Benton on Tuesday, the Bulldogs will travel to Mt. Carmel on Thursday.
