The Carmi-White County boys track team traveled to Fairfield yesterday for the Rick Book Invitational, and the Bulldogs finished in 2nd Place with a team score of 91.5.
Beck Huff finished 3rd in the 100 Meter Race & 4th in the 200 Meter Race.
Jayde Albright finished 2nd in the 400 Meter Race.
Lane Connaway finished 4th in the 1 Mile Race & 2nd in the 2 Mile Race.
Kale Wiggins placed 2nd in the 110 and 300 Meter Hurdles.
The 4×1 Relay Team of Wiggins, Huff, Noah Pollard, and Nelson Rider finished in 1st Place.
The 4×2 Relay Team of Huff, Pollard, Rider, and Kade Stockton finished in 3rd Place.
Gavin Peyton placed 5th in Shot Put.
Nelson Rider placed 4th in Discus.
Conner Benham placed 4th in Pole Vault.
Mitchel Edwards placed 1st in High Jump after he broke his own CWCHS record at 6’7”. Edwards also placed 3rd in the Triple Jump.
The Bulldogs will travel to Hamilton County on Thursday for the Black Diamond Conference Meet.
