The Carmi-White County boys track team began their season yesterday with a trip to DuQuoin, and the Bulldogs brought home 2nd Place.
Nelson Rider finished in 2nd Place in the 100 Meter Race.
Jayde Albright finished in 2nd Place in the 400 Meter Race.
Andrew Benham finished in 4th Place in the 800 Meter Race, and 2nd Place in the 1 Mile Race.
Lane Connaway finished in 1st Place in the 2 Mile Race.
Kale Wiggins finished in 4th Place in the 110 & 300 Meter Hurdles
The Bulldogs’ 4×1 Relay team consisting of Wiggins, Rider, Beck Huff and Noah Pollard finished in 2nd Place.
The 4×2 Relay team consisting of Pollard, Jazz Duckworth, Kade Stockton and Brody Brown finished in 4th Place.
The 4×4 Relay team consisting of Pollard, Albright, Huff and Trey Dixon finished in 5th Place.
The 4×8 Relay team consisting of Connaway, Benham, Dixon and Luke Bolerjack finished in 3rd Place.
Gavin Peyton placed 5th in Shot Put.
Nelson Rider placed 2nd in Discus.
Mitchel Edwards placed 1st in High Jump, Brody Brown placed 5th.
Connor Benham finished 3rd in Pole Vault.
Mitchel Edwards finished 5th in Long Jump.
The Bulldogs will take part in the Flora Invitational on Thursday.
