Crossville Woman Arrested on Traffic Charges in Enfield

A Crossville woman is free this morning following her arrest Wednesday morning in Enfield.  White County Sheriff’s Deputies say they spotted a gold Chevy Impala northbound on a County Road outside Enfield just after 11am and that the vehicle had no visible front registration along with a cracked front windshield prompting the stop.  The officer then spoke with the driver, 34 year old Tara Fitzgerald and passenger, 28 year old Dakota Goodwin of Carmi.  Goodwin allegedly told the officer he’d purchased the vehicle Tuesday night and was on his way to scrap it at Burnt Prairie.  The Carmi man wasn’t able to provide details including a bill of sale, proof of purchase, or even who he bought it from according to the report.  At that point, Fitzgerald told the officer she didn’t have a driver’s license, which was confirmed by dispatch.  The vehicle was towed from the scene and Fitzgerald has been charged with Driving While License Revoked, No Valid Registration, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.  She would bond out to $250 plus booking fee just after 5:30pm.
