Once again this year, the Village of Crossville has planned some special events for Christmas, with the first event set for December 3rd, all featuring the theme; Christmas in Toyland.
The Christmas Pageant will be held at 4 p.m. that Sunday, Dec. 3rd. Several categories and age groups will be selected to serve as the Crossville Christmas Royalty.
The annual Christmas Parade will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9. This is a lighted parade and entries are encouraged to light their float, or entry in celebration of the season. By the way, Santa will be the guest of honor for the parade. He and Mrs Claus will also be visiting Crossville throughout the holiday season.
There are a number of other activities planned for the season. They include the house decorating contest, a Christmas bake off, a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing, a basket raffle and a Christmas tree contest. There will also be a giant vendor fair set for 2 until 8 Saturday, Dec. 9.
