Criminal Damage Reported to Sheriff’s Department

Sheriff’s Department Reports Criminal Damage

The White County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a report of criminal damage to property filed by Robert A. Midkiff of 1101 County Road 700 East.

Midkiff reported someone drove onto his property causing damage and then left the scene.

After filing the report, the sheriff’s department was notified by the Norris City Police Department of a suspect who had fled the scene.

A deputy met with Morgan E. Wall, 104 West Eubanks, Norris City, who admitted to causing the damage. She explained her car had hydroplaned and exiting the roadway, crashed into the Midkiff property.

She stated she and a passenger were not injured and she did “not want to cause a scene” about the matter.

The 20 year old Wall was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident and illegal transportation of alcohol.
