For the week of July10-16, 2021, Egyptian Health Department is reporting a total of 39 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals:
- Saline County
- Female: 6 in their teens, 2 in their 20’s, 1 in their 30’s, 3 in their 40’s, 3 in their 50’s, 3 in their 60’s, 2 in their 70’s
- Male: 1 under the age of 10, 4 in their 40’s, 2 in their 50’s, 1 in their 90’s
- Gallatin County:
- Female: 1 in their 20’s
- Male: 1 in their 20’s
- White County
- Female: 1 in their 20’s, 2 in their 30’s, 2 in their 40’s, 1 in their 50’s, 1 in their 70’s
- Male: 2 in their 30’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,818 lab confirmed positives, including 57 deaths, White County has had a total of 1,839 lab-confirmed positives, including 27 deaths, and Gallatin County has a total of 520 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 4 deaths. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois has had a total of 1,399,270 confirmed cases and 23,350 deaths in Illinois.
