In doubles, Smith and Simmons defeated Alli and Winchester 10-2, Cox and Kiser defeated Davis and Walker 10-3, and Cronin and Accord took down Eisenhauser and Robinson 10-5.
“After graduating all 6 starters from last year’s team, I was really proud with how everyone played today in their first real varsity matches,” said Courty. As far as any comments on his 200th win, Courty kept it short and sweet, “I’ve been around for a while.”
The Lady Bulldogs will have the next 4 days off before they travel to Marion on Saturday for the Marion Invitational.
