Congratulations to the Corn Day Parade winners.
Carrying on a long standing tradition, Brownsville School once again picked up the first place prize for best float. The White County Historical Society’s entry was chosen as the second place winner.
Harrisburg Band was selected as the best of the bands in Saturday’s parade. Cobden and Flora finished second and third respectively.
By the way, the winning numbers for the half pot drawing were 1079. The jackpot reached a reported $14,600 and while a winner has not been identified it was reported a winner has come forth
