On 11/03/2015, at approximately 3:37 pm, the Mt. Carmel Police responded to the 900 block of N. Walnut Street in Mt. Carmel.
911 Dispatch received a complaint of a child being struck by a vehicle. When they arrived on scene the found 9 year old female on the ground. Witness claim that the 9 year old ran out into traffic and was struck by a vehicle driven by Brenda F. Windle of Mt. Carmel. The child was transported to Wabash General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No citations were issued.
