A Carmi woman is free on Pre Trial Release after her arrest Friday night. Carmi Police say they were dispatched to Pundrakes for a hit and run call about 10 minutes before 11pm. After reviewing video footage and a complaint was formally signed, officers located the vehicle involved in the accident at or near the intersection of Illinois and Sycamore. There, officers arrested 25-year-old Katie Grant and charged her with Leaving the Scene of an Accident that Resulted in Vehicle Damage. That vehicle was subsequently towed. Grant was booked and freed with a notice to appear.
