A traffic stop Wednesday evening resulted in the arrest of a young Carmi woman. At around 9:30 an officer with the Carmi Police Department stopped 18 year old Makayla Pulley of Saunders Avenue for no headlight. Pulley was taken into custody after the officer found cannabis in the vehicle. She is being charged with Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Bond for Pulley was set at $250 plus a $20 booking fee. She paid bond and was released about an hour later.
