Coach Will Knight’s Carmi White County Jr High Bullpups baseball squad jumped on NCOE early and often scoring 3 in the bottom of the 1st and adding 4 more in the 2nd on their way to a 12 – 4 win Wednesday afternoon. Preston Shelton led the offense going 2 for 3 while also collecting a walk and driving in 3 runs. Maxon O’Daniel, Hayden Sauls, and Isaac Karns each added 2 RBI’s. Abe Girten picked up the win for the Bullpups throwing 82 pitches over 5 innings of work. He struck out 5 and allowed only 1 hit. Shelton and Sauls combined to mop up the last two innings. The Bullpups are now 6-0 on the season and head to Benton Thursday afternoon.
