Molly Belford is a 2011 Carmi-White County High School graduate and next Tuesday she’ll celebrate owning and operating Carmi Therapeutic Massage for 5 years. Belford talked about her business at Thursday’s Kiwanis gathering. Since opening, CTM has steadily grown.
In those first 5 years, I’ve moved offices 3 times. Each time I’ve moved, we’ve grown a little bit. I started in east Carmi in a two room office, then moved to April Avenue next to Dimaggio’s. That’s where I gained Ariana Hatch. She is also from Carmi, a graduate of CWCHS in 2021.
Between the two of them, they’ve given out 6,032 massages to 693 different people and Belford says she appreciates being in such a supportive community.
In June, CTM made the move (Belford hopes their last) to 707 Oak Street between Yesterday’s Drive In and the police station. In the move, Belford says they’ve gained Head to Toe Studio and Heather Wheeler. Wheeler’s business is housed within Carmi Therapeutic Massage. Wheeler is a licensed cosmetologist with over 20 years of experience and the businesses work well together.
Head to Toe Studio and Carmi Therapeutic Massage both have facebook pages and can be found on the web at:

Next week at Kiwanis, members will meet new Carmi White County Unit 5 teachers.
