Daniel Burgera of Sixth Street in Carmi reported to Carmi Police Saturday items missing from his yard.
Jena Gaylene Knight reported to Carmi Police Sunday afternoon the possible theft of her wallet from the Carmi Walmart lot. The possible theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM Friday.
20 year old Carson Nicole Boren of Carmi was stopped by Carmi Police Sunday around 12:46 PM. An Officer observed Carson driving a black Ford passenger car on Fairground Road in Carmi. A check showed she possessed a suspended IL driver’s license. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle in the First Bank parking lot. Carson was taken into custody and later released after posting $250 cash bond. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 28 grams of suspected cannabis. Boren was cited for Driving While License Suspended and Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle.
