Friday afternoon, Carmi Police arrested 26 year old Lacie Dill of Carmi on warrants out of Wabash and Richland Counties. An officer observed Dill walking on Sycamore Street at 2:40 pm and took her into custody. At the time of the arrest, Dill gave her sister’s name and refused to show her id to the arresting officer. Dill’s identity was confirmed at the White County Jail, where she was additionally charged with obstructing justice. Dill was processed at the Jail and transferred to Richland County.
49 year old Teresa Holland of Carmi was arrested following a traffic stop on Oak Street early Sunday morning. Officers stopped Holland just after 4am after a computer check showed that her vehicle’s registration had been suspended, and it was found that Holland’s license had also been suspended. Holland was transported to the White County Jail, where she was processed and released after posting a $300 bond.
