A 26 year old Carmi woman, Lashayna L. Simunich, was arrested by Carmi Police Tuesday afternoon after Officers received a 911 call of a female who had entered a residence without permission located at 1108 Sycamore Street in Carmi. The caller requested assistance as the female was not making sense. Officers arrived and located Simunich, who Officers knew to have two White County Warrants; one for Failure to Appear on a charge of Retail Theft with a $500 cash bond and the other for Criminial Trespass to a Residence and Battery with a $1500 cash bond. Simunich was placed under arrest and transported to the White County Jail. In addition to the warrants, Simunich was charged with Resisting a Peace Officer. She is currently being held on $2,100 bond.
25 year old Dustin A. G. Myers of Carmi was arrested by Carmi Police Tuesday night on two White County Warrants. He is being held in the White County Jail on $5,250 bond.
