30 year old Lee Douglas Linder of Grayville is behind bars following a warrant arrest Sunday afternoon in Carmi. Linder turned himself into the Carmi PD just before 5pm. The Grayville man was originally arrested in January of this year on a Driving with a Suspended License charge. He was due in court for a first appearance in late February and then suffered a bond forfeiture April 10th after missing a court date. Linder has yet to make a plea on the Class A Misdemeanor. Online court records don’t yet indicate his next day before Judge Webb.
A pair of Carmi men are missing items. Both Jack Bradshaw of Commerce Street and Ben Arnold of Oak reported thefts to Carmi Police Sunday. Arnold signed a theft complaint for two four-wheelers, one a green Honda 250 Recon; the other a faded red and painted black Honda 350. Arnold says the ATV’s were taken from a residence on Lagoon Drive over the weekend. Bradshaw meanwhile says someone stole a ladder from his property at 104 Commerce. If you see any of these items, you’re encouraged to contact Carmi authorities at 618-383-4633.
