Carmi PD Make Three Arrests Monday

A Carmi woman is free after her arrest Monday morning.  28 year old Shelby Holloman of 6th Street was arrested on Stewart Street near 5th at 11am Monday.  A Carmi PD officer noticed her on bike and says he knew she was wanted on a White County warrant for Criminal Trespass of a Residence.  After being taken into custody, Holloman bonded out to $250 plus booking fee.  Online court records have yet to be updated showing when she’s due before a judge.

A Monday evening traffic stop turned into an arrest for a New Haven man.  Carmi Police say they pulled over 28 year old Matthew Snelling at around a quarter after 6pm near the city limits where South Church intersects with Iris Lane.  While pulled over, Snelling was found to be driving on a suspended license.  In addition, he was cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and operation of a motor vehicle with suspended registration due to mandatory insurance.  Snelling bonded out to the tune of $250 and booking fee later Monday night and now awaits a day in court.

35 year old Kinzy Williams is behind bars at the White County Jail following her arrest late last night.  It was nearly 11pm when Williams was pulled over by Carmi Police at Rock Bottom.  Williams was wanted out of Wayne County on multiple traffic related warrants.  Online court records out of Wayne County don’t reveal specifically to what charges those warrants pertain.  In addition to the warrants, Carmi Police found Williams in possession of methamphetamine and hypodermic needles leading to new charges.  She also faces a charge of unlawful use of property and was cited for failure to use a turn signal as well as operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.
