A Carmi Man is being held at the White County jail this morning for battery. Police say 19 year old Loren Phillps of 702 Foley Street in Carmi, was taken into custody on August 31st, at around 6:20 in the evening.
Phillips was arrested after he admitted to shoving a juvenile and a complaint was signed.
He’s being held at the White County jail on $100 bond.
