Following the meal prepared by The Green Onion, President Alan Saunders prefaced the program by welcoming visitors and guests. Guests of Kiwanians were Pete Fulkerson and Brandon Bax. Jim Davis, Lt. Gov. of Div. 33 for Kiwanis reported on the I-I Dist. Governor’s Banquet recently held in Benton. Among the Corn Days Chairperson’s reporting, Holly Healy reminded Kiwanians of the King and Queen Reception Saturday at 6:00 at Cherry St. Annex. In recognition of the Corn Days Theme, “The Greatest Generation”, Bill Harmon, a World War II veteran, was given a standing ovation for his service to our country. And, finally, Saunders appointed Dave Johnson Weather Chairman for Corn Day and warned of dire circumstances if he fouled up.

Chris Myers, Chairman of Corn Days, and Nancy Winter, Chairperson of Fund Raising for Corn Days, welcomed those Corn Days Sponsors in attendance and thanked all sponsors for their vital financial support of Corn Days activities which made it all possible.

Winter, who emceed the program, began by recognizing her committee made up of Dr. Clint Taylor, Chris Myers, and Art Saunders. And, she again thanked our great businesses and citizens of our community who stepped up to support Corn Days. Following is a listing of those sponsors:
