On Thursday Carmi Kiwanians made their annual trek out to Brownsville School to spread a little Christmas cheer. Kiwanis brought along with them the CWCHS Key Club, and the most valuable Bulldogs for 2nd Quarter from Jefferson School. Together they all sang Christmas carols to the students, Santa made an early pit stop to give away a gift for each of the students, along with a $500 donation to Brownsville School. Kiwanis wants to thank the cooks at Brownsville School for making a delicious lunch of grilled chicken, potatoes, salad, and dessert. Additionally, we want to thank Barbara Karger for playing the piano as we all tried to hold a tune!
