Carmi Issues Boil Orders
A boil order has been issued for Carmi water customers. Customers on North Summit St, the 900 block of 9th St, Smith Dr, 700 block of Maple St, Smith St. & the east side of Schumaker will be under a BOIL ORDER until further notice.
Carmi water customers on 12th St. north of oak St. to Lagoon Dr, all of Gilpin St., Burrell St. from Oak St. north to the Railroad tracks all of Vaulter Dr., Bob Martin Dr., Woodlawn & Lexington. This will also include customers west of Commerce St. going west along both sides of highway 14 including all of Sunnybrook to Marshall Electric until further notice.
Due to road work on Hillsdale and Ellen, there will be temporary road closures in that area through the rest of the week. The City of Carmi regrets any inconvenience.
