The Carmi City Council will meet for the last of its two regularly scheduled meetings in October Tuesday evening at 5:30.
According to the pre-released agenda, council should whip through the meeting in short order as there are few action items on tap.
At this time, the agenda list the usual reports from the committees, light and water, along with expected approval of the October 23 vendor invoices for the city and the light and water department.
Carmi Mayor Jeff Pollard is also expected to update the council on a number of items.
Council meetings are held the first and third Tuesday of each month at the council chambers located at 225 East Main Street. The meetings are open to the public with the exception of executive sessions, which are closed to the public.
