The first meeting of March for the Carmi City Council will be on Tuesday, March 7th at 5:30 PM at City Council Chambers on 225 East Main Street.
On the agenda is an amendment to an ordinance regulating inoperable and abandoned vehicles; awarding the Burrell’s Woods Park Roadway project contract to Sierra Bravo contingent on their approval to a change order reducing quantities, and authorize the Mayor and city Clerk to execute all necessary documents; and two resolutions – one approving a Fire Chief for the City of Carmi and another appointing a secretary/treasurer for the Carmi Fire Department.
There also will be reports and/or updates from Mayor Jeff Pollard, reports from Standing Committees, and business or comments from visitors. There will be a Closed Session to discuss personnel and property issues with no action to follow.
Carmi City Council meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
