The Carmi City Council will meet for the second of their two monthly meetings Tuesday July 18th at 5:30 PM at City Council Chambers on 225 East Main Street.
They will approve the June 2023 financial reports and approve and authorize the July 2023 vendor invoices for the City of Carmi and Light & Water Departments.
On the agenda is a request for road closure at North Main Cross from Main Street to Robinson Street for the Farm to Table Event being held on October 12th, a hosting event for the 2024 Solar Eclipse, approval to purchase light poles from Bridgewell Resources for $22,972, and a Pay Request from Brown & Roberts Inc. Burrell Woods Park Roadway Construction Engineering Invoice #1 for the billing period of June 1st 2023 to June 30th 2023 in the amount of $4,031.70.
There will be reports and/or updates from Mayor Jeff Pollard, reports from Standing Committees, and business or comments from visitors.
There will be a possible closed session to discuss property and personnel issues with no action to follow.
