The first of November’s two Carmi City Council meetings will be next Tuesday the 2nd at Council Chambers at 225 East Main Street, starting at 5:30 PM.
The agenda includes possible approval of an estimate from Farabee Mechanical Inc. for repairs at the Light Plant totaling $30,443.69; Christmas bonuses for city employees and Light and Water Department employees; a resolution authorizing an agreement with “2 Doods Dog Wash LLC” for a commercial property development project utilizing
Tax Increment Financing and a TIF agreement with “2 Doods Dog Wash”.
As usual, there will be reports and/or updates from Mayor Jeff Pollard, reports from standing committees, and business or comments from visitors.
A closed session after the regular meeting will be held to discuss personnel and property issues with no action to follow.
Remember, Carmi City Council meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
