The Carmi City Council will meet for the second of their two monthly meetings on August 16th at the City Council Chambers at 5:30 PM. There’s only one topic on the docket for consideration, discussion, and/or approval: The refinancing of the revolving loan buyout. Wade Carty is also set to address the council regarding trash service issues.
There will be reports and or updates from Mayor Jeff Pollard, reports from standing committees, business or comments from visitors. A closed session will be held to discuss personnel and property issues with no action to follow.
