White County Sheriff Deputies started their day in the early morning hours on Thursday.
While patrolling, an officer noticed a vehicle going at a high rate of speed on Stewart Street. The suspect fled from the deputy, failing to stop, and eventually went airborne around Fackney and Seventh Street before losing control and hitting a telephone pole.
The passenger, Demerius Montgomery, exited the vehicle and was detained.
Daniel Carlisle, the driver, fled the scene but was found a short time later not far from the vehicle behind some brush.
Once at the White County Jail, a search was made on Montgomery, where officers found a meth pipe on him. Multiple items of narcotics and paraphernalia were found inside the vehicle as well.
Carlisle was taken to the Hamilton Memorial Hospital, where a warrant will be requested by the White County Sheriff’s Department.

December 2, 2024 at 5:49 amYou should probably do your homework before you go running off at the mouth about politics, it’s clearly evident that you don’t know what you’re talking about. Trump always said he loves the poorly educated and you are prime example

November 3, 2024 at 4:45 pmHe wasn’t even given that. He has no license and is on parole. Something ain’t right here. Way to keep the public safe. He ran from the cops before he went to prison as well back in ’17
Little confused
November 3, 2024 at 4:44 pmHe wasn’t even given a notice there is nothing on judici at all. He is also on parole. Correct me if I’m wrong but should be had been held until his parole officer came. He was knocking on ppls doors by 7 am. He never set food in the jail house the kid did. So he was driving in a revoked, found meth on him plus some other things, and ran from the police, all while in parole and they just let him walk out the doors of the jail. Not a single news article has the same story reported either.
