The Carmi-White County Bulldog baseball team began the 2024 season with a 13-3 win over West Frankfort on Monday.
The Dawgs scored early and often, scoring 3 in the 1st, 2 in the 2nd, 2 in the 3rd, 3 in the 4th and 3 in the 5th.
Travor Mason picked up the win on the mound, he went 3 innings allowing just 2 runs with 5 strikeouts.
At the plate, Mason went 1-for-3 with 2 RBI.
Gavin Holloman went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Merick Millhorn went 3-for-4 with 5 RBI.
Landon Driscoll went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Maxon O’Daniel went 1-for-3 with an RBI.
The Bulldogs begin the season with a 1-0 record, they will host Carterville on Thursday.
