The White County Sheriff’s Department received a call on January 17 stating a female was being held hostage inside a camper.
Officers arrived on scene and discovered no one was being held hostage or hurt. Crystal Boaz identified herself, along with Richard Travelstead. Officers realized that Boaz had an active White County warrant for Theft of Mislaid Property. Boaz was placed under arrest and taken to the White County Jail.

January 29, 2024 at 10:01 amI do hope she gets help. She is one of the ‘poisoned’ for sure. I know her personally and have seen a light in her. But drugs and trauma and ‘the life’ can snuff that out. She has to WANT better, to do better. No amount of guilt,shame or bribing or begging will convince her.

January 29, 2024 at 9:52 amWhite County unfortunately is notorious for arresting the poisoned and letting the poisoners go free a lot of the time. In my opinion it’s either due to lack of ‘knowledge ‘, or the p.o.s. is a snitch. I said what I said!
