Board Hires Twelve And Approves Five Volunteers For the 2022-2023 School Year

Several new employees were hired during the Carmi White County School Board closed session on Monday night.  Stacy Oliver was employed as the Head Cook at Brownsville Attendance Center for the 2022-2023 school year to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Vicky Morrill, Linda Poole was employed as a Special Education Individual aid at Lincoln Attendance Center and Brooke Hammond was employed as Half-Time PreK Aide/Half time RtI Aide for the 2022-2023 school year to create the vacancy created by the reassignment of Taylor Bishop as well as Breakfast Student Supervisor at Lincoln attendance Center to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Alyson Glaser. Emily Mahon has been employed as a Special Education Classroom Aide at Lincoln Attendance Center for the 2022-2023 school year pending certification to fill the vacancy created by Alyson Glaser, Ashley French was employed as a Cook at Lincoln Attendance Center for the 2022-2023 school year pending certification to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Karen Upton, Cassie Hutchcraft has been employed as a 2nd Grade Teacher at Jefferson Attendance Center for the 2022-2023 school year to fill the vacancy created by the reassignment of Will Knight and Olivia Trout was employed as a Junior High School Special Education Individual Aide for the 2022-2023 school year to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Kim Beals. In sports,  Cole Carter was employed as the Junior High School Head Baseball Coach for the 2022-2023 school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Will Knight, Justin Simmons and Devin Rankin were approved to be Junior High School Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coaches for the 2022-2023 school year, Kelsey Rankin was employed as the Junior High School Head Softball Coach for the 2022-2023 school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Cindy Coleman,  Kaylea Chappelle was approved to be a Junior High School Volunteer Assistant Softball Coach and Andy Hannaford and Spud Egbert were both approved as High School Volunteer Assistant Football Coaches for the 2022-2023 school year. Lynn Simms was employed to be as the Junior/Senior High School Family Consumer Science Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year pending certification to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Michelle Burzynski,  Logan Weller was employed as a Junior/Senior High School Building Custodian for the 2022-2023 school year to fill the vacancy created by the reassignment of Jonathan Goemaat and Jessica Bailey was employed as a High School ELA Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year pending certification.
