Thursday morning, March 24th, a White County Sheriff’s Department Sergeant was on patrol on Fourth Street in Crossville when he approached the White County Housing Authority area and saw a male walking with hoodie pulled over his head. The Sergeant circled around the block to take a look and see if he could identify him. The subject turned out to be a homeless person, 19 year old McGwire Aschenbrenner, who had an active arrest warrant issued out of White County.
Aschenbrenner said he had just been to court on Monday and didn’t think a warrant was issued for him. After running his name through dispatch, it turned out there was an arrest warrant out of White County for Deceptive Practice $250 Cash.
Aschenbrenner was arrested and taken to the White County Jail, where he is currently being held.
An arraignment hearing has been set for April 18th.
