A 19 year old Norris City man, Isaac D. Anderson, was sentenced Monday in White County Court to the Illinois Department of Corrections for 2 years, followed by 1 year of Mandatory Supervised Release on a class 4 felony charge of Aggravated Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer.
Anderson was arrested in May of 2020 after leading an officer of the Grayville Police Department in a high speed chase from just south of Grayville to just south of Mt. Carmel where he was arrested after the use of stop/spike sticks by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. Anderson was represented by Public Defender Brian Shinkle. Judge T. Scott Webb was the presiding judge that sentenced Anderson at the conclusion of the sentencing hearing.
