41-year old Jeremy S. Allen of Grayville was sentenced Tuesday, to a total of 3-years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by a term of 4-years of Mandatory Supervised Release (formerly known as “parole”) in Edwards County Court. Jeremy S. Allen had previously pled guilty to the offense of Domestic Battery and was found to have violated his probation. Edwards County State’s Attorney Eric A. St Ledger prosecuted the case on behalf of the People of the State of Illinois and public defender Brian Shinkle represented the defendant, Jeremy S. Allen.
