A pair of Albion women found themselves in trouble with law enforcement in Carmi just before midnight into Tuesday. It was just before the clock struck 12 when Carmi Police say they pulled over 31-year-old Danielle Wooton at Fifth and Main. No word on what prompted the stop, but officers ended up citing Wooton for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. While at it, officers found 32 year old Tera Dawn Singh, also of Albion, to be in possession of cannabis. She was arrested and taken to the White County Jail where she bonded out to $250 plus booking fee just after 6am Tuesday morning.
