The Carmi White County School Board held a closed session following their regular scheduled meeting Monday night.
During the session Whitney McGuire was employed as a Kindergarten Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Shelley Courty, Kelsey Rankin was employed as an Elementary Teacher as Washington Attendance Center for the 2023-2024 school year and Travis Black was employed as a Carmi White County High School Science Teacher, pending certification, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Rachel McGarrh.
Corey Ackerman was employed as Washington Attendance Center Principal as Amy Atteberry has moved to Lincoln Attendance Center Principal for the 2023-2024 school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Amy Dixon.
Jessica Mason was reassigned from a Special Education Teacher at Washington Attendance Center to District Special Education and 504 Coordinator for the 2023-2024 school year created by the retirement of Amy Rice.
