In a special Hamilton County board meeting, a resolution was passed to pull necessary financing from the Motor Fuel Tax fund.
The money will go to perform maintenance on the county highways from January 1, 2024, until December 31, 2024.
The Highway Engineer, Rick Coronado, stated, “It’s a formality; a resolution is required. Right now, we are looking at spending $320,000 on this year’s program; last year, we spent $370,000. It’s spending on rock, patch material, things of that nature.”
No discussion was made on when work would begin.
