A couple of outa towners are hanging out in the White County Jail today. Just after midnight, an officer with the Carmi Police Department made a traffic stop on outer Oak Street/Illinois Rte 14, that resulted in the arrest of 42 year old Timothy R Craig of McLeansboro and 36 year old Leslie A Furlow of Christopher. Craig, who was the driver of the vehicle, was charged with Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Registration and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle. Furlow was charged with Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by a passenger.
Both were arrested and taken to the White County Jail.
