Two convictions were handed down in White County Court this morning according to States Attorney Denton Aud.
27 year old Kyle W Stephens of Carmi will spend five years in Department of Corrections custody after pleading guilty to one count of theft. Stephens was arrested by Carmi Police on October 27th. In addition, Stephens will be under one year of court supervision following incarceration. As a part of his plea agreement, Stephens will be recommended for the Impact Incarceration Program.
20 year old Zakkary M Hosick of Crossville was sentenced to four years in prison with two years of supervised release on one count of burglary. Hosick was originally sentenced to probation for the offence, but was arrested on two misdemeanors on October 28th by the White County Sheriff’s Department, causing his probation to be revoked. Hosick also has been recommended for the Impact incarceration program.
