Hamilton County States Attorney Justin Hood announced on Thursday that 52 year old Dwayne Willis of McLeansboro was sentenced to five years in prison on an aggravated DUI charge.
The sentence handed down in Hamilton County Court includes one year of mandatory supervised release following incarceration. Willis was arrested by McLeansboro police on September 29th while driving on a suspended license from a previous DUI conviction and with a BAC of .18. His vehicle was forfeited to the McLeansboro Police Department as the result of a civil case.
Willis is being held at the White County Jail pending transfer to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
