The City of Grayville City Council will hold a meeting on Monday January 9th. The executive session will include the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of employees of the Administrative Department as well as the purchase of lease of real property for the use of the public body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether a particular parcel should be acquired.
In old business the council will be discussing the following:
The water filtration plant, the ISP Health and Welfare Fund, security camera system quotes, a request to vacate the alley in Martin’s addition, abandoned properties for demolition and clean-up, school zone radar feedback signs and other signs and locations, to approve archaeological survey work for Phase II of the water line project, and finally the 2nd reading of ordinance #935 approving the sale of property in I-64 plaza
In new business the council will be discussing the following:
The loan guarantee for W2E Inc., the pump purchase/pump repair for the sewer lagoon, and a resolution in support of tax increment financing
There will also be reports from the treasurer, engineer, police chief/utility manager, city attorney, commissioners, and the mayor.
