An Omaha woman is being held in the White County Jail pending the setting of bond after being arrested during a traffic stop by and officer with the Carmi Police Department late Saturday. 51 year old Victoria Lewis of 7th Street was stopped on Plum Street in Carmi just a little before 11 p.m. and taken into custody for no Valid Driver’s License. She is also being charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful use of Property and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Lewis was also cited for Operation of a Motor Vehicle with no rear registration lights.
No court date has been set at this time.
