A Carmi has man bonded out of the White County Jail after being arrested for trespassing. At around 7:15 PM Monday, officers with the Carmi PD arrested 45 year old Joe Murphy of First Street. Murphy was previously ordered to stay off the property of the 5th Street Market but was discovered on the property by a Carmi Police Officer Monday evening. Kenneth Hargrave, the owner of the business signed a complaint for Criminal Trespass.
Murphy is being charged with Criminal Trespass to Real Property. Bond on the charge was $100 plus a $20 booking fee. Murphy paid bond and was released a few hours later.
