32 year old Kristin M Brown of Carmi was arrested by the Carmi Police Department on Friday at 12:30pm on a warrant for failure to appear at a residence on Oak Street. Brown was processed at the White County Jail and later released on a recognizance bond.
The police department received a report of a gasoline theft Saturday morning from Jumpin’ Jimmy’s. Employees told police that just after 10am, a woman driving a red car pumped $11 worth of gas into a silver car driven by a younger female, but did not pay for the fuel.
At 12:18pm Saturday, Adam Oxford of Carmi reported to police that overnight, someone entered his truck at his residence on Webb Street and stole a set of keys.
Just after 2pm on Saturday, 22 year old Ashley Ricketts of Carmi was arrested by city police for driving on a suspended license. Ricketts was pulled over on Fifth Street and was taken to the White County Jail. She later was released after posting a $150 bond.
On Saturday night, William Locklar reported to officers that earlier that evening, someone stole a car battery from his yard on Steven Street. Locklar reported the theft just before 8pm.
